Golden State Warriors Train 76ers Guest
The Golden State Warriors has offered a training camp contract to Philadelphia 76ers Summer League player Vernon Goodrich. The later's agent has officially announced that they have accepted the offer.
The preseason training that Golden Gate will be providing Goodrich is a very good opportunity for the 6-foot-9 forward as he will be given plenty of playing time with the injuries to Warriors David Lee and Ekpe Udoh. Goodrich is expected to showcase his speed and athleticism strengths because the Warriors are known for their open-style offense.
Despite his relatively unknown history in high school basketball, great things are up ahead for Goodrich. His present training stint with the Warriors will not only develop and hone his skills further in preparation for the season opening but will also give him the much needed exposure to other teams should Golden Gate decide not to take him in.
