In the face of a disastrous road trip that shut down the Golden State Warrior's playoff hopes, the team's new ownership is attempting to mollify their fan base with a number of pledges. If the team does not make the playoffs in 2012, season ticket prices will not be raised.

If they fail to land an All-Star, then autographed All-Star Warriors merchandise will be distributed to season ticket holders. And if the team fails to win at least 25 home games at Oracle Arena next year, they will conduct a two-hour autograph session for season ticket holders. While it isn't going to make fans as happy as a winning season, at least it is something to show them that the team's ownership cares about the fans that they need to fill their seats.

The Golden State Warriors uniforms had been a source of embarrassment for some of their fans for years, with their orange, yellow and blue color scheme. However, in 2010 the team unveiled a totally redesigned uniform that creates a classic look for the Warriors, with the Golden Gate Bridge making up the main part of the new logo. Warriors merchandise with the new logo went on sale to the public months after the new uniforms were unveiled.

The color orange and the thunderbolt were both removed from the new uniforms as well, as these design elements did not exactly strike fear into the hearts of opponents. The result is a sharper and cleaner image for a franchise that has long needed a new look. While it may not guarantee a winning season for the Warriors, it certainly doesn't hurt.
